On January 28, 2021 Hamden Police responded to Home Depot, 1873 Dixwell Avenue, on the report of a larceny.
A Loss Prevention Officer advised police that an individual, described as a white male, middle-aged, 2 “barbell style” eye piercings, wearing dark clothing, exited the store with stolen merchandise, valued at $200.00. When confronted by the Loss Prevention Officer, he “dropped the box on the ground.” He subsequently fled from the area in a black Jeep.
