On March 1, 2021 at approximately 3:15a.m. Hamden Police responded to Alltown Fresh, 1941 Dixwell Avenue on the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed that an individual, described as a white male, middle-aged, 5’10”, 200lbs., wearing a dark blue and white stripped “Adidas” jacket and gray sweatpants, entered the store and approached the clerk. He pointed a firearm at the clerk and pulled the trigger. The gun did not fire. The clerk subsequently handed the cash register drawer to the gunman.
The individual fled in a newer model, red, 4-door Chevrolet sedan, northbound on Dixwell Avenue.
