On May 14, 2021, Hamden Police Detectives Jomo Crawford, Shawn Nutcher and Andrew Lipford were continuing a previous investigation.
During the investigation, they observed a motor vehicle on Grandview Avenue, that was occupied by Tyquan Harrison. Upon approaching Harrison, he began to reach towards his feet. The Detectives quickly detained Harrison and located a “.38 Special 5 Shot Revolver” inside of his pocket. He was promptly arrested and transported to police headquarters.
Hamden Police arrested Tyquan Harrison, 24, of Hamden. He was charged with Carrying a Revolver without a Permit. Harrison, who was detained on a $20,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on May 28, 2021.
