In November of 2019, Hamden Police received information pertaining to child pornography. An investigation immediately commenced.
As the result of an extensive investigation, Detective Shawn Nutcher identified Thomas Digrazio as the person that was in the possession of child pornography. Detective Nutcher submitted an arrest warrant application to the court. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On May 19, 2021, Detective Nutcher and Detective Mark Sheppard arrested Digrazio, at his residence, 365 Mather Street, Apartment 96, in Hamden. Digrazio, 37, was charged with Possession of Child Pornography in the 1st Degree. He was released after posting a court-ordered $50,000.00 bond. Digrazio is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on August 6, 2021.
