On March 30, 2020, at 4:10a.m. Hamden Police responded to a Clifford Street address on the report of a burglary.
Investigation revealed that Salif Haidara had entered the residence through an unlocked front door. Once inside, he stole several items, including electronic equipment and a bicycle. The homeowner, who was asleep, was alerted by his barking dog.
Detective Joseph Liguori conducted an extensive investigation, which led to the
application of an arrest warrant for Haidara. The court approved the arrest warrant
application.
On May 24, 2021, Hamden Police arrested Haidara, 21, of Newhall Street, Hamden. He was charged with Burglary in the 1st Degree and Larceny in the 4th Degree. Haidara, who was detained on a $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on August 5, 2021.
