On June 11, 2021, at approximately 12:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to the area of Morse Street and Shelton Avenue on the report of “shots fired.”
Residents reported that three young males were walking on Morse Street, in the vicinity of Shelton Avenue. Moments later, three males exited a dark-colored sedan and fired multiple gunshots at the young males. They subsequently ran eastbound on Morse Street, in an attempt to avoid harm. It is unknown if any of the young males were struck by gunfire. A house and a motor vehicle were damaged by bullets. The suspect vehicle was last observed traveling northbound on Newhall Street.
Officers located numerous shell casings at the scene.
