On April 25, 2021, Hamden Police responded to The Home Depot, 1873 Dixwell Avenue on the report of a larceny.
Investigation revealed that Brian Davis and a female accomplice attempted to steal merchandise, valued at $663.00. A loss prevention officer confronted Davis, as he exited the store. Davis subsequently “pushed and punched” the store employee. Davis and the accomplice fled from the area in a motor vehicle. They stole a pressure washer, valued at $450.00.
Officer Derick Manning conducted an investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Davis. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On June 24, 2021, Hamden Police arrested Brian Davis, 53, of 37 Middlesex Street, Waterbury. He was charged with Robbery in the 3rd Degree and Larceny in the 5th Degree. Davis, who was detained on a court-ordered $5,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on July 16th.
