The Hamden Animal Control Division is happy to report the following:
On July 3rd, “Sushi”, a male ferret, escaped from his Mix Avenue apartment. On July 8th, after being on the run for five days, he was found sleeping in the lobby of a local restaurant.
Sushi was transported to a veterinarian and was found to be “relatively healthy.” He has since been returned to his Mix Avenue residence.
