On May 11, 2021 Hamden Police responded to a local store, located in the 1100 block of Dixwell Avenue, on the report of “inappropriate touching.”
Investigation revealed that Jabron Matheney entered the store and began to masturbate. He then proceeded to “grab” an employee on the buttocks.
Officer Daniel Allen conducted an investigation, which led to the application of an arrest warrant for Matheney. The court approved the arrest warrant application.
On July 13, 2021, Hamden Police arrested Jabron Matheney, 27, of Hamden. He was charged with Sexual Assault in the 4th Degree and Public Indecency.
Matheney, who was detained on a court-ordered $3,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear at Meriden Superior Court on September 14th.
