On March 23, 2021, Hamden Police responded to the area of Dixwell Avenue and Circular Avenue on the report of shots fired.
Investigation revealed that the victim, a 46 year-old Hamden resident, was standing next to his motorcycle, which was parked on the sidewalk. Timothy Myers, 31, of New Haven, emerged from a rear parking lot and fired several shots. One of the bullets “went through the sleeve” of the victim’s shirt. He was not injured.

On July 21, 2021, Hamden Police arrested Timothy Myers at Meriden Superior Court. He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Discharge of a Firearm, Violation of Pistol Permit Requirement and Reckless Endangerment in the 1st Degree.
