On 10/27/21 at approximately 12:00 noon, Hamden Police responded to the area of Concord Street near Dixwell Avenue on the report of a person firing several shots at an occupied vehicle that was stopped in the middle of Dixwell Avenue.
The vehicle was described as a newer model, black, 4-door sedan (possibly a Volkswagen Jetta). The suspect on foot was described as a thin black male, late teens to early twenties, short braided hair and wearing a black sweat suit. The shooter on foot and vehicle both fled the scene after the shooting.

This shooting remains an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Donald Remillard of the Hamden Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 203-230-4052.
