On 10/28/21 at approximately 10:30 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to the area of Shelton Avenue near Morse Street after receiving multiple 911 calls of shots fired.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an SUV was struck by gunfire while travelling on Morse Street. The vehicle was occupied at the time of the shooting by a couple and their two-year-old child. Ballistic evidence was recovered from inside the victim’s vehicle and at the crime scene. The two adults and young child were not struck by the bullet that entered the passenger compartment of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
