On 11/27/21 at approximately 9:00PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to the area of Manila Avenue and Oregon Avenue on the reports of shots fired. While investigating, police learned that a vehicle was struck during the gunfire and an 18-year-old female suffered a graze wound. The victim had a minor injury as a result of the shooting.
Ballistic evidence was recovered at the crime scene. The preliminary investigation revealed that an occupant of the struck vehicle was the apparent target of the shooting. The shooting remains an ongoing investigation.
