On 02/14/22, between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, the Hamden Police Department responded to multiple theft from motor vehicle complaints in the Hamden Plaza (2100 Dixwell Avenue) and the Hamden Mart (2300 Dixwell Avenue). The windows were smashed on vehicles and items were taken from some of the vehicles, including purses. The suspects appeared to target vehicles, while the owners were working out at local gyms in the shopping areas.
