On 03/06/22 at approximately 10:00 PM, Hamden Police Officers responded to Mill Rock Road on a reported carjacking. The victim was walking to his vehicle in a driveway, when he was approached by an individual with a handgun. The suspect took the SUV at gunpoint and pushed the victim to the ground. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately twenty years old.
A short time later, the victim’s vehicle was located by the New Haven Police Department at Edgewood Park. The vehicle was unoccupied and partially submerged in a pond. The vehicle was recovered from the water and processed for evidence by detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit.
