3/27/2018 - 3/26/18 Carry Dangerous Weapon Arrest

On March 22nd at approximately 3:00a.m. Officer Andrew Lipford observed 3 individuals “checking door handles” of parked motor vehicles on North Street.

Moments later, Officer Lipford detained Angel Gonzalez-Delfi. Gonzalez-Delfi was in the possession of several stolen items, including a computer, several cell phones and prescription medication. Upon searching Gonzalez-Delfi, officers located a facsimile firearm tucked into his waistband. Gonzalez-Delfi was promptly arrested and transported to Hamden Police Headquarters.

Hamden Police arrested Angel Gonzalez-Delfi, 18, of 424 Eastern Street, Apartment C, New Haven. He was charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Burglary in the 3rd Degree, 2 counts of Larceny in the 6th Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Larceny in the 6th Degree, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon and Illegal Possession of Prescription Medication. Gonzalez-Delfi, who was detained on a $25,000.00 bond, is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on April 5th.
