On 04/26/22, at approximately 9:30 AM, Hamden Police officers responded to a Warner Street address on a reported assault involving a knife. Responding officers located a 20-year-old female victim with a laceration to the head. The investigation revealed that the victim was attacked by a person with a knife when she was leaving a friend’s house. The suspect was previously involved in a relationship with the person that lives at the house.
The victim was treated on scene and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Shortly afterwards, Officer Enrique Rivera-Rodriguez located the suspect in the neighborhood, later identified as Natalie Epps.
Epps, age 19, of New Haven, was charged with Assault 1st Degree and Breach of Peace 2nd Degree. She was assigned a 05/19/22 court date in Meriden Superior Court and held on a $25,000.00 bond.
