On March 23rd at approximately 9:30p.m. Hamden Police responded to a Mount Carmel Avenue residence on the report of a dispute involving a knife.
Investigation revealed that a 54 year-old Hamden resident had a verbal altercation with a group of acquaintances. According to witnesses, he then “pulled out a knife.” He subsequently fled on foot upon the arrival of Hamden Police.
Sergeant Jason Venditto and his K-9 Partner “Viking” conducted a track through a heavily wooded area. The 54 year-old was located and placed under arrest. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital for evaluation.
