On 5/29/22 at approximately 6:30 AM, Hamden Police Officers responded to 655 Fitch Street on a report of a female with a gun sitting outside the apartment complex. Officer Michael Vivenzio and Officer Enrique Rivera-Rodriguez quickly responded and located the female, later identified as Francesca Pisano. Officers recovered a loaded firearm in her possession, along with numerous bags of suspected heroin packaged for sale. The firearm was reported stolen out of West Haven.
Pisano, age 28 of North Haven, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Carrying a Pistol without a Permit, Theft of a Firearm, Possession of Narcotics, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell and Breach of Peace 2nd Degree. She was held on $25,000.00 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on 06/15/22.
