On April 15th at approximately 3:45a.m. Hamden Police responded to Park Road on the complaint of a robbery, involving a stabbing. Upon arrival officers located 2 individuals that were seated inside of a parked motor vehicle. One of the individuals, a 21 year-old Hamden resident, was suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen.

Investigation revealed that the 2 victims “pulled over” on Park Road to relieve themselves. They were then approached by 2 subjects who demanded their belongings. A physical altercation occurred, which resulted in the stabbing. The victim’s keys and cell phone were stolen in the robbery. The victim was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The subjects are described as “2 Hispanic males.”
