For the past month, numerous Hamden residents and businesses have rallied to provide much needed supplies and to express their gratitude.
The Hamden Police Department is extremely grateful to many residents for their kind deeds and the show of support. Hamden resident Carol Teodosio selflessly provided the Hamden Police Department with “well over a hundred” hand-made, reusable masks. Town resident Li Feng purchased 800 surgical masks for the department. Burch Valldejuli donated cases of gloves and hand wipes.
Town businesses, including Splash Car Wash, have contributed much needed supplies, including gloves, hand wipes and sanitizer. In addition, local restaurants have regularly donated food to our hard-working officers.
We at the Hamden Police Department cannot thank our residents and businesses enough for your continued support during this pandemic. Your dedication and thoughtfulness to our town is very much appreciated.
